Woodstock Old Home Week

Old Home Week is a staple in the Upper River Valley. The 9 day festival boasts events that brings everyone from Carleton County and surrounding areas out to enjoy our traditions and life as we know it.

Activities

Lawn Mower Races

The hottest trending motorsport sweeping the Maritimes can be found at Old Home Week. These action packed races provide an epic and thrilling experience for the whole family. Catch these impressive machines in action on our lawnmower track located at Connell Park Raceway.

Hobby Show

Our Hobby Show is where local artisans and hobbyists showcase their abilities. Beautiful crafts, woodworking, quilts, photography and paintings are just a few of the items you will find here. Don’t forget to take in one of the many workshops and demonstrations scheduled!

Old Home Week Parade

Nothing says Old Home Week like our annual parade which takes place the first Sunday of the festival. Join us along our new parade route, from AYR Motor Centre to NBCC, to see all the local individuals, clubs and businesses pass by with their creative entries.

Demolition Derby

Engines revving, metal scraping, dirt flying and crowds cheering are just the start of the excitement at Old Home Week’s Demolition Derby. Drivers and the crews come from near and far to smash and crash in hopes of gaining the title of the last vehicle running! An Old Home Week tradition for many generations, the Demolition Derby is sure to be fun for the whole family!

Campbell Amusements

Campbell Amusements joins OHW starting Wednesday until the close of our festival on Saturday. Whether you grab a few tickets and do a couple rides or a bracelet for a day of unlimited fun, there is something for the whole family! Have some fun, play a few game and don't forget to stop by one of the vendors for a candied apple or cotton candy before you go.
